About me

Hi, I’m Ana — a General Health Psychologist and Psychotherapist in Barcelona (COPC nº 36227).

Originally from Romania, I studied psychology in the Netherlands, where I completed both my Bachelor’s and Master’s in Clinical Psychology. I trained in evidence-based modalities such as Schema Therapy, Mindfulness, Integrative Psychotherapy, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

Over the years I have worked in clinics, NGOs, and mental health centres across Europe, supporting survivors of trauma, such as physical and sexual abuse, as well as adults facing anxiety and depression, burnout, and relationship struggles.

Three years ago I moved to Barcelona, where I work in private practice with adult individuals and couples — with a particular focus on the international community.

My approach is holistic and integrative, meaning I combine different therapeutic approaches depending on each person’s needs, while considering the connection between mind, body, and emotions.

What Working Together Looks Like

What you can expect

  • A warm, compassionate space where you can be yourself.

  • Working at your pace.

  • Understanding and changing old patterns.

  • Practical tools to feel calmer and more grounded.

  • Guidance and support in decision-making.

  • Working as a team to reach your goals.

What therapy isn't

  • Quick fixes.

  • A place to be perfect.

  • Judging or blaming you or your past.

  • Telling you how to live your life.

  • Pressuring you to do or talk about something when you’re not ready.

  • Linear or immediate – healing has ups and downs.
